Are You Sure??

When I have more time I will update my blog with pictures of NYC and preschool Christmas programs but this darn Christmas thing coming up has me a little overwhelmed right now- I refuse to wrap a whole s**t load of presents Dec. 24th so I am trying to wrap a handful a night when the kids go to bed. S0 anyhow..there are things that Tyson does that truly amazes me everyday and I jokingly say to myself,"are you sure he has down syndrome? haha"

He absolutely loves to help his mom...his older sisters could take some notes from him...(two older sisters..Kenzie likes to help)

And just tonite I was watching him trying to hold a bunch of blocks- so he started picking them up and tucking them under his chin so he could grab some more..he came over to me with them and said "bock"(block) - the whole idea of him knowing to tuck them under his chin to be able to grab more amazed me- Keep up the good work Buddy!

What's Important

I'm always tired, have no time to myself, feel like I have no life outside of the home....but then I look at these four beauties

and realize they are my life, they complete me and soon enough all that free time will come to me and then I won't want it anyhow...

I will be sitting at home wishing they were this young again...

Feeling Left Out

Recently I've been seeing a change in Kenzie- she's been doing some negative things to get my attention- The older girls go to the Hershey Bears hockey games with Dad, Tyson has his aide that comes to the house everyday- I think she has been feeling left out. So I surprised her the other night and took her to Disney On Ice. She absolutely loved it and the best part was she thanked me at the end of the night and told me how much fun she had- (I'm sure the $12.00 snowcone in the princess cup gave me some brownie points!)

The very next night she had a sleepover at grandpa's - she always gets extra attention from grandma and grandpa when she's there!

Snow

So yes we had snow here in Pa before these kids even went trick or treating! Let me tell you how much I hate finding layers of clothes, hats ,gloves ect... all so these kids can go out for ten mnutes and decide it's too cold- that was at 10am this morning. I threw all their wet clothes in the dryer and they were ready to go out again. This time was longer because Daddy was out there building forts and sledding with them. And where was I? INSIDE! Daddy's are good for all that outside stuff. Tyson and I stayed inside- there will be plenty of more snow days to get him out there.

Hot chocolate was all ready for Kenzie- I knew she would be the first one in.

A little afternoon nap and you better believe I was right in the middle!

And to top off the night with a cozy fire and roasted marshmallows
