Grandpa cleaning the pool for the kids
A little cold Tyson?
This kid just loves to wrestle
And he always wins!

Feelings
Down syndrome is easy.
Down syndrome is sometimes hard.
Down syndrome means that Tyson is extra special.
Ds means that Tyson will be viewed differently.
But different isn't always bad, it's just different.
Ds means that my whole family will know that different is okay.
Down Syndrome is different than it sounds... there is nothing "down" about it.
Down syndrome means ALL my kids are special and I LOVE Tyson's Designer genes.
Down syndrome means my son can do anything he puts his mind to doing.
Down Syndrome means that there are 47 peices to love instead of 46 - hey isn't more love better?
Down Syndrome is what caused me to cry the most tears but also laugh the most laughs in my life.
Down Syndrome is something I will never view in the same way again.
Down Syndrome is what rallied my family into learning about something new and different.
Down syndrome can be frustrating.
Down syndrome can make me cry.
Down syndrome has made me a stronger person.
Down syndrome can make the unknown future a little more scary.
Down syndrome has helped my girls see the inner beauty of people.
Down syndrome is why my daughter wants to have a baby with ds when she grows up.
I could go on, but I will end with the best thought of all...
Down syndrome gave our family a child that we love more and more every day.
I did not think of all of these on my own....but I agree 100%

Busy Weekend
So we picked Skip up Friday from the airport- he was gone all week for work. The kids were excited to see him. I let them have him all to themselves and went out with some friends! Hee Hee- hey I was in need of a break! Saturday we all went to the PTO carnival- they always have fun there-
Courtney- Kassidy(Alina's BFF)- Alina and Kenzie
Who's that cutie pie?
Tyson's first smoothie- he LOVED IT!!
Looks like a serious conversation
Mommy and Co Co
Hanging with the girls
Kenzie enjoyed her ice cream- can you tell?
Right from the carnival the kids went to the local church for 3 hours- every once in awhile they do free babysitting...and what did Skip and I do? He mowed and weed whacked, I ran errands and did some outside work also...how romantic! Felt good to get some things done without any interruptions. Today Skip stayed home with the kids while Alina and I went shopping the whole day... I'm so glad yesterday was nice weather for the carnival- it has rained here for two weeks and now I just saw more rain all week....Help me!!!!

Lemonade and More
So for Mother's Day I got a very nice present- ALONE TIME!!! Sounds awful to say right? But hey when you're with your kids 24hrs a day, any chance to be alone you'll take. I spent a couple of hours shopping and came home to a lemonade stand.
The girls had more people come than we ever did when we had yard sales- they were so excited, it was cute. We ended the night with a trip to get ice cream.
Just had to put this serious picture of Tyson in-
