Christmas Concerts

Last week Kenzie and Tyson had their preschool concerts- Kenzie was very excited for it- finally got to wear her new outfit she picked out- she has no problem being "vocal"...to put it nicely!

This was Tyson's first time singing in front of people- standing still for a good amount of time..ect. I think he was mesmerized by the crowd because he did great- no attempts to run off- sang and did the hand motions. Ok he did try to eat the bells but big deal! I was very proud of the both of them.

Are You Sure??

When I have more time I will update my blog with pictures of NYC and preschool Christmas programs but this darn Christmas thing coming up has me a little overwhelmed right now- I refuse to wrap a whole s**t load of presents Dec. 24th so I am trying to wrap a handful a night when the kids go to bed. S0 anyhow..there are things that Tyson does that truly amazes me everyday and I jokingly say to myself,"are you sure he has down syndrome? haha"

He absolutely loves to help his mom...his older sisters could take some notes from him...(two older sisters..Kenzie likes to help)

And just tonite I was watching him trying to hold a bunch of blocks- so he started picking them up and tucking them under his chin so he could grab some more..he came over to me with them and said "bock"(block) - the whole idea of him knowing to tuck them under his chin to be able to grab more amazed me- Keep up the good work Buddy!

What's Important

I'm always tired, have no time to myself, feel like I have no life outside of the home....but then I look at these four beauties

and realize they are my life, they complete me and soon enough all that free time will come to me and then I won't want it anyhow...

I will be sitting at home wishing they were this young again...

Feeling Left Out

Recently I've been seeing a change in Kenzie- she's been doing some negative things to get my attention- The older girls go to the Hershey Bears hockey games with Dad, Tyson has his aide that comes to the house everyday- I think she has been feeling left out. So I surprised her the other night and took her to Disney On Ice. She absolutely loved it and the best part was she thanked me at the end of the night and told me how much fun she had- (I'm sure the $12.00 snowcone in the princess cup gave me some brownie points!)

The very next night she had a sleepover at grandpa's - she always gets extra attention from grandma and grandpa when she's there!

Snow

So yes we had snow here in Pa before these kids even went trick or treating! Let me tell you how much I hate finding layers of clothes, hats ,gloves ect... all so these kids can go out for ten mnutes and decide it's too cold- that was at 10am this morning. I threw all their wet clothes in the dryer and they were ready to go out again. This time was longer because Daddy was out there building forts and sledding with them. And where was I? INSIDE! Daddy's are good for all that outside stuff. Tyson and I stayed inside- there will be plenty of more snow days to get him out there.

Hot chocolate was all ready for Kenzie- I knew she would be the first one in.

A little afternoon nap and you better believe I was right in the middle!

And to top off the night with a cozy fire and roasted marshmallows

Preschool SUCKS!!!!

Yep- if Tyson could talk that is what he would be telling me- he is not digging this whole preschool thing. Now before I go on he has only been there four times so I hope in time he will actually like going. He also just started with a TSS(support specialist) who goes to school with him so the poor little guy has had a lot of new things thrown to him. Right now he cries the entire time he is at school and if he isn't crying he is sleeping-(from exhaustion of crying)

So in the afternoons you bet Tyson is sandwiched between Kenzie and I getting all the loving he deserves!!!!

Preschool Has Begun!!!

Yesterday was Kenzie's first day of Preschool. She is in the 4yr old class and goes mon-thur for 2 1/2 hours. She's been going here since she was 2yrs old so she was very excited to start.

Today was Tyson's first day! He is going to the same school that Kenzie attends, a private preschool. He goes tues and thurs for 2 1/2 hours. Needless to say I was nervous and excited at the same time.

When I picked him up they said he did well. He cried but not the whole time- most of the children cry for about the first month! The teacher also told me he fell asleep on her for almost 30 min. He was probably so worked up from crying he exhausted himself! I did see red dots on his face which means he was crying pretty hard. But he has already charmed his one teacher with his big brown eyes! Hopefully each time will get better for him! Mommy will have no problem getting used to some free time!
